Responsibilities

 

Coordinates, designs, formats and produces a variety of marketing materials including posters, Splashpage slides, and web slides.

Assist in development of marketing plans, designing print publications, copy editing, coordinating video and photo shoots, student engagement initiatives and outreach, and other duties as assigned

Assist with the development and implementation of social media and design policies ensuring compliance with departmental and University policies. Must generate updates and changes as needed.

Assist in managing social media outlets and website pages

Responsible to coordinate promotional tables and events. This includes scheduling and facilitating departmental fairs, block party and internal departmental events, social media or program promotions. Will facilitate the scheduling of student workers to provide a well-rounded promotion of particular areas or program.

Collaborates with departmental staff to ensure promotions best represent programs and its appeal to end users is effective.

Assist in the development of the program calendar and creates the program promotion guide. Coordinates proofing and corrections to marketing material.

Responsible to submit event calendar to Campus Calendar and ensure programming is visible and represented. May attend and assist with some programs and events.

Work with the Marketing Department, as needed, to coordinate additional marketing related projects.

Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Perform any task assigned by the Executive Director of Student Health and Wellness Initiatives.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Digital Media, Communications, Health Promotions, or related field.

Demonstrated experience in marketing and graphic design.

Preferred Qualifications

Earned or progress towards Master’s Degree in Communications, Studio Media Arts or related field.

Experience in graphic design, specifically working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

Experience with various social media outlets, photography and video editing.
