Responsibilities

The internship consists of exposure to inpatient & outpatient cardiac & pulmonary rehab, diabetes and nutrition center, hospital based fitness center, employee wellness, heart failure telemonitor program, along with observation in select clinical areas & stress testing. Services are delivered to patients and clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. All interns are expected to complete a list of comprehensive written and practical KSA’s adapted from ACSM. Internship program is a minimum of 35-40 hours per week for at least a 10-week period.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an Exercise Science or health-related degree program at an accredited university.

Excellent communication skills and motivation to learn.
