Housed in the Department of Kinesiology, this Bachelor of Science degree is designed to prepare students for graduate education in occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), athletic training (AT), wellness and human performance, and other areas of health care, within the context of a liberal arts education setting. An additional focus of the program is to prepare students for certification exams through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Health Sciences is an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science program that includes courses from all departments in the School of Sciences and Mathematics, based on graduate-school admissions requirements.
